I know I have heard that sometimes these kinds of mattresses stay warm — I am warm sometimes, but to be honest I don’t know if that’s the mattress or just because my whole apartment gets warm in the summer. I had never had a memory foam mattress before so I wasn’t sure if I’d like it. I’ve been sleeping on this for 4+ months now and I love it! I visited a friend earlier this month and slept on a box-spring mattress and my back started hurting two days in! If/when I ever need to upgrade to a bigger bed I’ll definitely come back to these.
I wanted a better mattress for a cot I had purchased. I wanted support and springs. It’s hard to find both together to fit a roll away cot. Being between plushy soft and firm, LINENSPA Memory Foam is just right. There is support, and you don’t feel like you’re sleeping on a mat. There is depth when you lay on it on your side but the support cradles you. It’s hard to believe it’s an innerspring mattress. Now as to the issue of “beg bugs” in some reviews, I ordered with a bit of nervousness. I needed the mattress and decided that reviews were not quite solid on this issue. I opened the box on my porch ready to take action with bug spray if needed. My fears were unfounded. The mattress was fine. Those few specks were just debris, NOT bugs! I do recommend opening it in a large area because once the airtight seal is broken, it quickly fills with air and expands. Also, I decided to keep the plastic covering on it to move it to its new location. It made carrying and sliding much easier and faster. So far LINENSPA Memory Foam has fulfilled all expectations.
I purchased Zinus Memory Foam mattress 9 months ago and could not be happier with it. This is by far the most comfortable and quiet bed I have ever owned. I will say that it is definitely warmer than a regular mattress and not good if you don’t have a/c. I have not had any of the problems people were complaining about. There was no odor other than shoving my face clear down into the mattress and breathing heavily. Even then it only smelled like I would expect any new foam to smell. People were also saying that they get stuck in the mattress and basically have to roll uphill to get out of a hole- I am a 5′ 9″ 160 lb woman and have not experienced that at all. I don’t feel like I sink anymore than any other bed… you just sink differently (in a good way). As long as you have the strength to lift your own weight you should not have a problem. Although it was a little heavy, I was able to unroll it by myself and it grew just like they said it would- faster even. I did not wait 24 hrs to sleep on it and it is fine to date. Has not broken down or sagged at all, still in new shape. Also, my brother bought his over a year ago and he loves it. Last but not least, if this bed is no good after 2 years (at this rate I don’t see that happening) I feel like I got my $ out of it and I would buy another. xoxo
Zinus Memory Foam mattress is amazing! I wasnt sure if it was going to work because we love our traditional mattress but taking our family on the road meant we needed a better everyday mattress that would fit in the camper. If you’re looking for a great camper mattress the 8 inch is perfect. I didnt think it would be thick enough but after letting I sit for 48 hours we were both pleasantly surprised on the firmness and the fact you don’t really sink down. I included pictures of it in stages so you can see what it looks like as it “fills” because that’s something else I was pretty skeptical about. The little thank you cards that you can send out are a nice little touch as well. Overall we are satisfied so far. I will update the review in a few months.
I bought Signature Sleep Hybrid mattress 3 years ago for my daughter and it was easy setup- just get it out of the packaging and it rises up to the full size. LINENSPA Memory Foam is great! It’s quite firm and the memory foam layer isolates it from the springy feeling of a spring mattress. As others have said, sitting on the edges of this mattress is probably not wise over time because they kind of collapse slightly when you do. Have been sleeping on it for a week and it’s *very* supportive and comfortable. Will update over time and rate its capacity for “adult activities” when my boyfriend comes over. 😉 I’m sure this mattress will survive 2 years easily.
I bought LINENSPA Memory Foam for my 4’11, 105 pound daughter. She wanted something soft yet supportive. She has a condition called neurofibromatosis which can cause spinal issues, and back pain can be a problem for her. When we got it, I wanted to return it immediately. It shakes and wobbles, and I was sure it was a disaster in the making. I caved to her pleas to keep it, because she felt it was wonderful despite the wobbliness. Six months later, she confessed to me that it is exactly what I thought it was: Unsupportive. Her spine is hurting her dreadfully. It’s too late to return it now, but I want to warn others: If you want both soft and supportive, this is not it. Yes, it is soft to lay on. No, it does not offer ANY support. A pile of hay in a mattress would offer as much support as this worthless thing. Now I’m out the money and have to buy her another mattress!
